Job Description

The Playhouse Company is looking to appoint a Fundraising Consultant on a fixed term contract to assist the institution in raising funds.

Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with the Entity's mandate, programmes, and strategic objectives.
  • Identify and engage with potential donors, partners, and funding institutions.
  • Prepare and submit funding proposals and partnership documents in accordance with compliance requirements.
  • Prepare and submit performance reports.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a suitable tertiary qualification in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, Finance or Project Management (a postgraduate qualification in Fundraising is an advantage).
  • Minimum of five years' experience in fundraising with a proven track record within a governmental or public entity.
  • Competencies in stakeholder management, presentation and negotiation skills, good knowledge of compliance and public finance regulations, and excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the applicable legislation and governance frameworks for fundraising within public entities.
