A boutique travel company specialising in tailor-made journeys across Southern and Eastern Africa for French-speaking travellers seeking authentic, inspiring, and immersive experiences is looking for an experienced French-Speaking Travel Consultant.
As a Travel Consultant, you will be at the heart of the client journey-combining sales expertise with creativity and destination knowledge to design exceptional trips.
Responsibilities- Advise, inspire, and guide clients in creating bespoke itineraries across Southern & Eastern Africa
- Design detailed, personalised travel proposals and accurate quotations
- Manage the full booking lifecycle, including reservations, confirmations, and coordination with local suppliers
- Deliver outstanding customer service from first enquiry through to post-travel follow-up
- Build strong, long-term relationships with clients
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and destination expertise
- Fluent French speaker (first language level)
- Proven experience as a Travel Consultant, with strong sales capability
- Solid knowledge of Southern and/or Eastern Africa and a genuine passion for the region
- Clear understanding of the expectations and travel styles of the European French-speaking market (France, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg, etc.)
- Highly customer-focused, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working independently and within a small, agile team
- Confident using Google Workspace and CRM systems
- Work on inspiring, tailor-made trips for French-speaking travellers from Europe
