Job Description
Next-Level Events Need Next-Level People.
We're looking to collaborate withexperiencedfreelancers who thrive in high-performance environments and know how to deliver exceptional work under pressure.
With over 20 years of experience in events and activations, we don't just deliver - we craft extraordinary experiences that disrupt the expected and redefine what's possible. We call it Formula X.
Formula X is more than a strategy - it's our culture: a guiding philosophy grounded in a relentless pursuit of excellence, deep ownership, and a drive to innovate at every turn. It defines how we think, how we work, and how we perform. Every project is an opportunity to elevate our craft and deepen our impact.
Talent Needed Creative DirectorsExperience in the events and activations environment is a strong advantage. Live work requires an execution-first mindset and a deep understanding of how to translate creative ideas into real-world experiences. You should be confident leading creative development from brief to proposal to delivery, and be able to translate big ideas into clear, compelling, and practical solutions. You must also be able to:
- Develop strong creative concepts specifically built for live experiences.
- Work collaboratively with project teams, clients, and suppliers to bring ideas to life.
- Build high-quality proposals and decks independently.
- Be confident in PowerPoint (storytelling, structure, polish, and pacing).
Strong in motion and confident across the Apple + Adobe ecosystems (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). PowerPoint proficiency is essential, along with content creation, mock-ups, layouts, and presentation design.
On-site Managers / Site ClosersMust have strong working knowledge of JOC processes and procedures, with the ability to manage on-site operations seamlessly and maintain calm control under pressure. You'll be the face of delivery on-site - balancing client expectations, crew coordination, and real-time problem-solving. You must be:
- Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple moving parts.
- Strong in execution, site coordination, and supplier oversight.
- Confident handling real-time challenges, scope shifts, and time constraints.
- Equipped with excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate clearly with everyone from vendors and crew to clients and stakeholders.
- Comfortable being assertive and decisive, while maintaining a professional, approachable presence.
Experienced in capturing live events and activations - with a strong eye for storytelling, brand alignment, and quality under challenging conditions (fast-paced environments, low light, tight timelines, unpredictable movement). You should be adaptable, professional, and capable of producing content that feels premium and purposeful. You must be confident in:
- Shooting high-quality event content (stills and/or video, depending on your speciality).
- Capturing key moments, atmospheres, and branded details without heavy direction.
- Working quickly and collaboratively on-site with producers and clients.
- Producing professional outputs (including editing/retouching where applicable).
- Delivering on clear turnaround timelines and file specs.
- Minimum of five years' relevant experience.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and adapt quickly to changing scope, limited resources, and tight turnaround times.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously - balancing strategic priorities (client needs, creative direction) with details (timelines, budgets).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, clients, and suppliers.
- High computer literacy, including (but not limited to): MS Office Suite, cloud collaboration platforms, and AI tools.
- A collaborative, positive attitude - able to work well in a team while also working independently when needed.
Please make sure you meet the criteria above.
New applicants only, please.
- Your portfolio - showcasing key events/projects/campaigns, the brands you've worked with, and your specific contributions.
- Your rate card.
Please note: While all submissions will be reviewed, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
