Forklift Driver

A leading client in the retail sector is seeking for a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Driver to join their team based in Chatsworth. This role is ideal for an experienced operator who is confident working in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment and understands the importance of safety, accuracy, and efficiency in stock handling operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe loading, offloading, movement and storage of stock while supporting warehouse and operational activities.

• Operate a 7-ton forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load and offload stock from trucks and storage areas.
• Move goods within the warehouse and retail site as required.
• Stack and store products in designated locations.
• Conduct daily forklift inspections and report any faults.
• Assist with stock control, picking and general warehouse duties when required.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the work area.
• Valid forklift licence (not expired) - essential.
• Valid forklift operator certificate - essential.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience operating a 7-ton forklift.
• Experience working in retail, warehouse, logistics, or distribution environments.
• Good understanding of safety procedures and warehouse operations.
• Physically fit and able to work shifts, weekends and overtime when required.
