Position Overview

This client is looking for a Packaging Development Manager to work closely with the NPD team to accelerate the supply of new products to customers and to continually improve current packing formats, reducing packaging & costs. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager but based within the NPD environment, the successful candidate will drive rapid generation of new concepts and ideas. This is a hands on role and will involve customer meetings, driving supplier partnerships with like minded innovative suppliers as well as working within a very busy product development led business, launching 150 products a year. You will have a proven track record in Packaging Technology within a FMCG environment with a heavy focus on innovation and the ability to demonstrate understanding of concept to launch critical path management with the major multiple retailers.
