Fitter

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and breakdown repairs
• Removal and installation of pumps, gearboxes and other plant equipment
• Responsible for maintenance of plant specific equipment
• Overhauling of equipment to OEM specification
• Manage SAP work order system management
• Adhere to safety, health and environmental issues
• Daily routine walkabouts - flagging equipment risks to Supervisor
• Attend to breakdowns
• Provide routine weekly and monthly reports

Your profile

• N3 (Fitting trade theory, Engineering Drawings, Math, Engineering Science)
• Fitter Trade Test Certificate
• 3 years' experience in a relevant heavy industry
• At least 3 years Fitting experience
• Pulp and paper equipment knowledge will be advantageous
• Overhead Crane License
• Forklift License
