Job Description

Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer with experience working in the Flexo or Digital / Laser Engraving equipment sectors who is ready to join a successful multinational company?

If so, our Client is offering a challenging but rewarding opportunity that involves:

Responsibilities
  • Travelling to sites throughout the UK and Ireland (occasional international travel required).
  • Performing installation, commissioning, SATs, FATs, service, maintenance and repair of Flexographic and Digital printing and laser engraving equipment.
  • Telephone support.
  • Communicating with customers and building relationships with operators/technicians and other key personnel.
  • Delivering machine training at Operator and Maintenance/Technician level.
  • Carry out pre-installation site surveys.
  • Occasional sales support at exhibitions/customers visits.
  • Accurate reporting of daily activities including customer feedback.
  • Liaising with colleagues to resolve software/hardware/documents/spare parts issues as required.
  • Maintenance of central database following software updates/upgrades carried out in the field.
Qualifications
  • Suitably qualified technical person educated to at least HNC level or equivalent in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
  • Relevant experience of fault finding, commissioning and maintenance of Industrial Automation equipment with PC literacy essential.
  • A certain degree of 'mechanical aptitude' is also required.
  • Flexible attitude to out of hours working.
