Factory Manager, Turffontein, Gauteng

National company in the FMCG / food processing industry in Turffontein, Gauteng requires Factory Manager with Matric / Grade 12, relevant Engineering degree / Operations Management / Production Management tertiary qualification and 6-8 years hands on experience in FMCG manufacturing, with at least 4 years in Factory or Operations Management. You will be responsible for the management of Production, Maintenance, and Safety, Health & Environmental. Your main function will be the implementation of systems to enhance health and safety protocols, optimizing waste management, determining manning requirements, and the development and growth of all employees.

You will be responsible for management of Production, Maintenance and Health and Safety departments. Your main responsibilities will be to oversee the execution of production plans, the implementation and management of preventative maintenance programmes to maximise uptime and the management of Health, Safety and Environmental Excellence. Other duties will be to design and implement waste reduction and sustainability initiatives and to manage the workforce to strengthen consistency and enhance punctuality and reduce absenteeism.

Monthly salary / salary package negotiable (depending on qualification and experience)
