Job Description
We are looking for a hands on and proactive Facilities Manager to maintain a safe, functional, and inspiring school environment at Lion Pride Academy. This role supports the school's operational effectiveness through strategic facilities oversight and project coordination.
Facilities Manager responsibilities are:- Lead maintenance of buildings, grounds, vehicles, and equipment.
- Develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules.
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Monitor risk and implement emergency protocols.
- Manage facilities budget and procurement processes.
- Support events with logistics and venue readiness.
- Explore sustainability and facility rental initiatives.
- Matric with proven experience in facilities operations.
- 5+ years' relevant experience; trades or project skills are advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of building, safety, and maintenance systems.
- Budgeting, procurement, and contractor oversight skills.
- Hands on, proactive, and service minded.
- Clear criminal record required.
