POST DESCRIPTION - FACILITATORS: HAIRDRESSING (L2 - L4)
CAMPUS - RANDFONTEIN
SALARY - R256,395.00 per annum plus 37% in lieu of benefits (REQV 13); R333,624.00 per annum plus 37% in lieu of benefits (REQV 14)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Matric/Grade 12 Certificate plus an Artisanship in Afro/Gents/Ladies Caucasian. A minimum of 1 year experience working at a salon and education sector will be an added advantage. A professional qualification in Education will be an added advantage. Must be computer literate. Registration with NAMB as an Assessor and Moderator will be an added advantage.
COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS - Curriculum development and creation of a conducive learning environment. Lesson presentation and methodology. Lecture students in compliance with the college Annual Academic Plan and campus timetable. Assess students, maintain assessment records, and capture assessment marks electronically. Develop quality assessment tasks for students. Attend subject, invigilation, divisional meetings, and other meetings related to work. Classroom management. Recording and analysing data. Knowledge of digital learning. Knowledge of relevant prescripts, legislation and policies governing the TVET Sector. Assessor and Moderator qualification will be an added advantage.
DUTIES - Conduct theoretical and practical classes as per the qualification requirements. Planning and implementation of the subject related plan according to programme. Organise relevant curricular activities to ensure that the subject and learning area of the students are conducted in a proper manner. Assist with the development, issuing and management of learning resources and equipment. Monitor the work placement of the students. Report and account for student performance in their programmes. Record and report absenteeism. Setting, marking and moderating internal and external assessments. Ability to monitor the performance of students and provide feedback in an objective manner. Ability to relate to students in a professional manner and promote a conducive teaching and learning environment.
