Job Description
Reporting Line:Chief People & Brand
Role Overview:TheExecutive Head: Peopleprovides enterprise-wide leadership of the People function, driving strategy, governance, and workforce capability across the organisation. Reporting to the Chief People & Brand, the role leads six functional heads and works closely with EXCO and Board committees to shape workforce architecture, strengthen leadership capability, and support organisational performance at an enterprise level.
- Postgraduate degree (NQF 8+) in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Organisational Development, or a related field
- Master's degree (NQF 9) preferred
- Professional registration with SABPP or equivalent advantageous
- 15+ years senior HR leadership experience
- Proven expertise in enterprise People strategy and organisational transformation
- Strong experience in reward governance and employee relations oversight
- Experience in complex or regulated environments advantageous
- Strong engagement experience with Board and EXCO-level stakeholders
- Deep understanding of organisational design, workforce analytics, and labour legislation
- Strategic enterprise leadership and alignment of People architecture
- Executive influence and governance credibility
- Organisational design and employee relations stewardship
- Reward governance and workforce risk oversight
- Building leadership depth and succession pipelines
- Strategic workforce planning and talent capability development
