About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking school in East London. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to inspiring students and delivering high-quality English teaching across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the national curriculum

Assess, track, and report on student progress effectively

Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning

Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential

Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Degree in English or a related subject

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Ability to motivate and inspire students

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare

ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply
