Electrician Apprenticeship

My client Wilmar SA is offering a 4-year training programme as an Apprentice Electrician towards a trade qualification as an Electrician.

South African citizens from previously disadvantaged groups, in line with the Employment Equity Act 55 of 1998

• Senior Certificate / Matric with English passed with a minimum of 50%, and Mathematics (not Mathematics Literacy) passed with a minimum of 40%
• National N3 Certificate (Engineering Studies) with Engineering Science, Mathematics, trade theory subjects such as Electro Techniques/Electricians Work / Electrical Technology Technician Electrical and an additional trade related technical subject such as Technical Drawings/Industrial Electronics, all passed with a minimum of 50%

• Monthly stipend: R4 434,00 with 3 competency-based stipend adjustments thereafter
• Payment for Institutional Training
• Toolkit
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Meal while on training or at work

• CV
• Certified ID Copy
• Certified Matric Certificate
• Certified Statements of results showing subject marks

• Safety medical assessments will be conducted
• Criminal checks will be conducted
• Qualifications verifications will be conducted
• References will be required
