Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment
  • Work on freezer rooms, ice-machines and display fridges
  • Routine services on ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment
  • Identify maintenance risks on equipment
  • Electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
  • Keep daily logs and records of all maintenance services
  • Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act
REQUIREMENTS
  • HVAC technical qualifications (air-conditioning technician) / HVAC certification
  • Preferably 2 years previous experience
  • Braising and soldering skills
  • Experience working as a refrigeration, air conditioning, heat pumps repairs, installations, fault finding, maintenance and servicing
  • Proficient with manual and power tools
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable and self-motivated
  • Excellent interpersonal- & communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a professional working relationship with all departments
  • Must be well-presented
  • Flexibility and Accountability
