Job Purpose

Responsiblefor leading and coordinating electrical installation, wiring controland instrumentation systems, fault finding and repairs on electrical systemson site and in the workshop as well as providing administrative support tothe Project Manager

Conducting maintenance activities, ensuring thatall electrical systems are installed, tested, maintained, and commissioned ina safe, compliant, and timely manner.

Therole requires strong technical knowledge, hands on electrical skills, and the abilityto manage people, projects, and client expectations.

RequiredQualifications:

• Matric (Grade12)
• N4-N6 ElectricalEngineering Certificate
• ND in Electrical Engineering (Advantage)
• First Aid Level1 (Advantage)
• ORHVS Certificate (Advantage)

• Knowledgeof Schneider & Siemens electrical products would be advantageous.
• Knowledgeof Electrical systems functional design analyses would be advantageous.
• Knowledgeof Electrical systems, especially MCC's, Instrumentation & telemetry
• Basicknowledge of Computer Aided Design Systems and Tools.
• Basicknowledge of Soft Starters and Drives setup and commissioning.
• Knowledgeof electrical equipment and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, andmaintenance.
• Knowledgeof electrical hazards.
• Basicknowledge of MS Office and Outlook.

EXPERIENCE

• 5-8 Years' experience in electrical installations in the Electrical/Engineering or Construction environment
• 3 years Electrical Experience in Panel Wiring.
• 2-3 Years Proven experience in a supervisory or team lead role.
