An opportunity has arisen for an HV Authorised Shift Leader to join a facilities maintenance team at a high profile international commercial banking site in London's West End. This role operates within a critical environment, supporting the continuous operation of mechanical and electrical systems.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure all plant and equipment are operating efficiently to meet client requirements, identifying and escalating risks where necessary.
- Diagnose and repair faults within technical capability, assist with work order prioritisation, and liaise with helpdesk teams and end users regarding maintenance requirements.
- Oversee subcontractors, ensuring all works are delivered in line with company engineering standards and industry best practice.
- Carry out minor works and like for like asset replacement; support team development; maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders across the site.
- Apply cost awareness and sustainability principles to service delivery.
This position follows a continental shift pattern (days and nights, 7:00-19:00 / 19:00-7:00) and offers a basic salary of up to £63,000, along with a company pension scheme and 20 shifts' holiday allowance per year.
Required qualifications:
- Fully qualified electrically (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent).
- Current HV switching authorisation.
- Previous experience within corporate or banking facilities maintenance environments.
- Eligibility to pass security clearance.
- Proactive, conscientious approach.
