Job Description

Electrical Commissioning Engineer - Morocco

Department: Technical

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Africa

Reporting To: Head of Build/Project Lead; daily coordination with mechanical commissioning engineer, subcontractors, vendors and third party commission authority.

Description

A fast-growing data center developer/operator is delivering a hyperscale data center project for a global cloud/technology end client. The project is currently transitioning from construction to commissioning and requires external commissioning support to ensure structured execution from Level 1 to Level 5 (L1-L5) in coordination with a third-party commissioning authority (BPVI).

The client operates without a General Contractor and is managing multiple subcontractors directly (electrical, mechanical, fire suppression, etc.). Commissioning activities are therefore critical to ensure system reliability, traceability, and compliance prior to handover.

Two commissioning engineers are required (Electrical & Mechanical). One of the engineers will assume a functional Acting Commissioning Lead role for L1-L3 coordination. This designation will be confirmed based on the selected candidates' strengths and coordination capability.
