Job Description
Responsibilities 
- To implement and monitor effective EHS risk management and drive continuous improvement towards Beyond Zero
- To ensure EHS compliance through audits, inspections and reporting
- To enable EHS competencies within operations
- Develop and implement EHSQ controls
- Updating EHS documentation
- Conduct EHSQ incident investigations, root cause analysis and facilitation of learning
- Maintain EHSQ management systems (e.g. ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO 45001)
- EHSQ performance monitoring and reporting
- Co-ordinating and facilitating EHSQ training
- Knowledge and monitoring compliance to EHSQ legal requirements (including permits and legislation)
- National Diploma (safety, environmental, engineering or equivalent). BTech will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a Chemical / Manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated Risk Management Knowledge and Skills
- Facilitation and Training Skills
