Optimiis currently seeking a well-organised individual with a people-oriented approach to join our team as an Education Specialist for Geography Grades10-12. The ideal candidate should have a positive outlook, be adaptable to change and excel as a team player withexceptionalcommunication skills.It is essential that thecandidate havean in-depthunderstanding of all CAPS requirements andcancritically evaluate content within the subject field.
REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor of Education or bachelor's degree with PGCE in a relevant field
- 5 years of experience as an educator
- Computer literacy
- Proficiency in Afrikaans and English language
- SACE registered.
- Apply andmonitorthe application of CAPS and the assessment requirementsbythe examination board.
- Ensure quality assurance of external developers and moderators.
- Moderate or set assessment tasks inspecificareasof expertise and/or related fields.
- Plan,supportand/or presentacademic-relatedwebinars/ memorandum discussions.
- Develop orfacilitatethe design of the assessment instructions and guidelinesaccording to the unique needs of the education clients.
- Academic support and collaboration withImpaqOnline School educators.
- Provideacademicfeedbacktosuittheuniqueneedsoflearners.
- Developacademicsupportmaterials.
The position is based in Centurion, Pretoria.
