Optimiis currently seeking a well-organised individual with a people-oriented approach to join our team as an Education Specialist for Geography Grades10-12. The ideal candidate should have a positive outlook, be adaptable to change and excel as a team player withexceptionalcommunication skills.It is essential that thecandidate havean in-depthunderstanding of all CAPS requirements andcancritically evaluate content within the subject field.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor of Education or bachelor's degree with PGCE in a relevant field
  • 5 years of experience as an educator
  • Computer literacy
  • Proficiency in Afrikaans and English language
  • SACE registered.
DUTIES
  • Apply andmonitorthe application of CAPS and the assessment requirementsbythe examination board.
  • Ensure quality assurance of external developers and moderators.
  • Moderate or set assessment tasks inspecificareasof expertise and/or related fields.
  • Plan,supportand/or presentacademic-relatedwebinars/ memorandum discussions.
  • Develop orfacilitatethe design of the assessment instructions and guidelinesaccording to the unique needs of the education clients.
  • Academic support and collaboration withImpaqOnline School educators.
  • Provideacademicfeedbacktosuittheuniqueneedsoflearners.
  • Developacademicsupportmaterials.

The position is based in Centurion, Pretoria.
