Across industries and around the world, we're creating better experiences for people using emerging technologies and human ingenuity. Together, we can reinvent anything.

Ecosystem and Platform Lead is responsible for architecting and orchestrating the strategic network of technology partners and platform solutions that power digital transformation for Accenture Song. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, technology alliances, and commercial scale, ensuring that Accenture Song and its clients leverage the full potential of the global technology ecosystem. The individual collaborates across Song practices to design integrated platform roadmaps, drive co-innovation with "Big Rock" partners (e.g., Salesforce, Adobe, Google, AWS, Microsoft, etc.), and create "Better Together" value propositions that accelerate client growth. The lead role defines the ecosystem strategy, manages high-value Go-To-Market (GTM) relationships, and ensures that platform implementations are ethically sound, scalable, and optimised for maximum ROI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Strategic Alliances: Lead the alignment of ecosystem partner roadmaps with Accenture Song's market, industry, and account priorities, ensuring a unified GTM motion across Africa.
  • Commercial Accountability: Take ownership of Song Africa's technology partner sales targets, originating and qualifying large-scale platform-led deals.
  • Orchestrate GTM Strategy: Own the end-to-end strategic relationship with key technology vendors, developing co-marketing initiatives, demand generation programs, and joint investment cases.
  • Practice & Talent Growth: Partner with Song practice leads to identify talent gaps, track resourcing needs for platform delivery, and drive internal certification programs for key technology partners.
  • Value Architecture: Develop high-level business cases and value trees for platform transformations, moving clients from legacy systems to modern, cloud-native, and AI-enabled ecosystems.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Bridge the gap between Product, Engineering, and Creative teams to ensure that platform choices safeguard quality, ethics, and responsible design.
Preferred skills, education, and experience
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree (minimum) with Honours; Master's or MBA preferred.
  • Partnership Expertise: 8+ years of experience managing high-stakes enterprise software partnerships or leading ecosystem sales within a global consultancy.
  • Platform Mastery: Deep implementation and strategic knowledge of major experience platforms (Salesforce, Adobe, Google Marketing Platform) and cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and sustain influential relationships with C-suite executives at both clients and technology partners.
  • Commercial Track Record: Demonstrated success in reaching and exceeding sales and revenue targets for professional services and software-led transformations.
  • Industry Acumen: Strong understanding of emerging trends (GenAI, CDP, MarTech/AdTech/Agentic AI integration) and their impact on the African business landscape.
  • Operational Excellence: Experience in a matrixed environment, managing complex account portfolios and coordinating diverse project teams.
