The above position is vacant in our East Rand branch, reporting to the Regional Manager. The overall purpose of this position is to manage several Operations Managers covering key areas such as client liaison, HR/IR matters, fleet management, expense control, investigations and to ensure the posting of security officers. All site security requirements must be adhered to and the client's needs must be efficiently and professionally met at all times.
Minimum Requirements- Matric/Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent. PSIRA Grade A registered.
- Valid Driver's Licence with own reliable transport.
- At least 10 years' experience in the security industry.
- At least 5 years' experience in the Operational Security Management structure.
- Working knowledge of the Firearms Act and Firearms competency.
- Staff management experience.
- Computer literacy with expert knowledge of the complete Microsoft package.
- No criminal record or any pending cases.
- Sound planning, administration, interpersonal communication and client liaison skills.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management and its requirements.
- Must reside in the East Rand.
- Maintaining good relations between Fidelity Security Services Group and the client.
- Managing allocated areas to ensure contractual requirements are met.
- Ensuring all Security Officers meet contractual requirements.
- Evaluating service levels and recommending improvements.
- General management and supervision of security staff.
- Handling administration matters.
- Liaising daily with management and regional management on operational issues.
- Addressing HR related queries promptly.
- Formulating disciplinary actions.
- Timely submission of employment forms to the regional office.
- Submitting relevant weekly/monthly incident and general reports to management.
- Investigating incidents and reporting on them.
- Ensuring sound knowledge of the ISO 9001:2008 Management System.
