Position: E-Commerce / Marketplace Coordinator

Salary: R8K - R10K CTC per month (before deductions). A pension fund contribution will be deducted from this salary.

Area: Woodstock, CPT (will only consider candidates already settled in CPT)

Type of position: Permanent and based in office.

Our client is recruiting for an E-commerce / Marketplace Coordinator to join their E-commerce team, reporting to E-Commerce Key Account Manager.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role focused on marketplace administration, customer query handling, order and dispatch tracking, listing maintenance, and coordination across online platforms.

Core responsibilities
  • Handling inbound customer calls and follow-ups relating to orders, deliveries, rebookings, and escalations
  • Managing customer emails through the general info inbox
  • Liaising daily with marketplace representatives
  • Sending daily operational reports
  • Tracking orders and dispatch entries across platforms
  • Assisting with listing creation, updates, removals, and reinstatements
  • Escalating marketplace issues and helping resolve order, listing, and delivery problems
  • Supporting dispatch and allocation processes across relevant systems
  • Assisting with process improvements and document updates
Platform exposure preferred
  • Takealot
  • Amazon SA / Amazon UK
  • Tesco exposure advantageous
  • Experience with seller portals / booking systems / dispatch-linked systems preferred

  • Has experience in e-commerce admin, marketplace coordination, online sales support, or customer service
  • Is highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Can work in a high-volume, fast-moving environment
  • Has strong follow-up and problem-solving ability
  • Is comfortable dealing with customers, internal teams, and external platform representatives
  • Can manage multiple priorities and escalation appropriately
