Overview

As a Director of Strategy & Innovation you will be responsible for the following:

  • Act as a strategic advisor and thought partner to the CEO and Executive Committee.
  • Lead corporate strategy design, execution, and review cycles, translating mission into clear choices and priorities aligned with emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Drive the design and implementation of high-impact strategic initiatives and cross-cutting projects, fostering collaboration across internal teams and external partners.
  • Develop and own key strategic initiatives by applying rigorous analysis, business acumen, and logic to identify value drivers and lay foundations for success.
  • Champion innovation by building and managing pipelines of new ideas and scaling them into impactful solutions.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of tools and resources that enhance efficiency across organizational processes, systems, programs, and initiatives.
  • Ensure strategic priorities are clearly and consistently communicated to staff, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Translate complex data and insights into compelling narratives for funders and external audiences, showcasing impact effectively.
  • Modernize data systems and analytics to enable faster, evidence-based strategic decisions.
The Successful Applicant

A successful Director of Strategy & Innovation should have:

  • A master's degree in business administration, strategy, international development, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in strategy consulting, business intelligence, or international development.
  • Proven ability to drive organisational growth and impact through strategic planning.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
  • A deep understanding of the not-for-profit sector and its unique challenges.
