Cook to join our dietary team and help create nutritious, comforting meals for our residents. What You'll Be Doing: Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment at all times Prepare large batch meals according to established menus, recipes, and portion guidelines Prepare and plate meals that are both nutritious and visually appealing Accurately follow special diet requirements and physician orders Record food temperatures and comply with all food safety standards Prepare pureed foods that are smooth, flavorful, and nutritious Collaborate with dietary and interdisciplinary team members Maintain and monitor sanitizer buckets and cleaning supplies Assist with meal service as needed Clean and organize cooking areas, carts, and equipment Report any resident concerns to leadership promptly Assist with onboarding and training new dietary team members Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules Step into leadership or support roles as needed to keep operations running smoothly What We're Looking For: Previous cooking experience (healthcare or large volume cooking preferred) Strong attention to detail and food safety A positive attitude and team oriented mindset Perks & Benefits: Competitive pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour (DOE) Medical, dental, and vision insurance (full time employees) 401(k) (full time employees) Paid Time Off Ongoing training and growth opportunitiesIf you're ready to bring your skills to a team that values quality, care, and teamwork, we'd love to hear from you.
