Location: Balmoral,Gauteng,South AfricaAfrimat CM North (Hartebeesfontein), based in Balmoral has a vacancy for: Diesel Mechanic # Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Requirements Grade 12 certificate Diesel Mechanic trade certificate 5 years + experience as a Diesel Mechanic post trade Computer literate Basic electrical knowledge (auto electrical) advantageous Working knowledge of different tools Ability to work on RSG, oil sampling as well as lubricating Basic welding - advantageous Spray painting - advantageous # Duties and responsibilities (not limited to): Working knowledge of all earthmoving machinery (mobile plant, loaders, dumpers, excavators, LDVs, mobile crushing and screening machines) Perform first line maintenance task on all yellow fleet Perform first line of breakdown repairs on plant and equipment Assist with general duties assigned by Manager Develop, modify, construct, and install related equipment required for the safe operation of all engineering equipment Diagnosis, troubleshooting, fault finding and repair Ordering of spares Complete risk assessments Good experience in hydraulics (fault finding as well as changing cylinders) Working knowledge of hydraulic pumps # Please submit the following documents to apply:Please upload the following documents in one file with the application form to the right.
