Job Description

The Export Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring compliance, accuracy, and integrity of mineral exports. This role focuses on inspection, verification, and documentation of mineral shipments to prevent losses, discrepancies, and regulatory breaches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify quantity and quality of mineral consignments prior to export
  • Conduct physical inspections, sampling, and validation of materials
  • Ensure compliance with export regulations, contractual terms, and international standards
  • Monitor loading/unloading operations to prevent loss or contamination
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation
  • Coordinate with logistics, port authorities, and client representatives
Education & Qualification
  • Diploma or Degree in Mining, Mechanical, or related technical discipline
Experience
  • 5-10 years in mining, mineral inspection, or export control
  • Proven experience in Africa or South America mining projects preferred
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of mineral sampling, inspection, and testing procedures
  • Familiarity with export documentation and compliance standards
  • Ability to interpret technical reports and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and reporting accuracy
