Design Intern

At AIPX, the project-nature of our agency means creatives move quickly, jump on and off project teams and ensure agency output is consistently great no matter the size or topic of the project.

We are looking for a Designer Intern to help support the agency in all aspects of their visual output. This role works with all departments in shaping/delivering design across digital, motion, branding, web as well as internal and external communications. They will act as the hub for all design assets and strive to keep a high level design for all work of any size/importance.

We intend for this role to start off as remote but will eventually join the rest of the agency in either our Rosebank or Cape Town office once it is safe to do so.

• Relatable experience, preferably in a creative agency / creative school setting
• Degree in Advertising, Communications, Business or similar preferable or a strong portfolio
• Solutions-oriented; always has solutions in mind when managing up
• Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects at once
• Team player who understands time management and quick turnaround timelines in advertising
• A passion for creativity - any additional creative outlet, hobby or passion is a plus.
• Familiarity with Google apps and technical software (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Basic knowledge in After Effects is a plus
