Delivery Driver Positions Hiring

A Delivery Driver transports goods, parcels, and products to businesses and customers on local and suburban routes. It is one of the most accessible driving roles in South Africa, with opportunities across courier services, retail, food and beverage, and e commerce sectors in all nine provinces.

• Entry level / light vehicle delivery - ZAR4,500-7,000 per month
• Experienced / multi drop routes - ZAR7,000-12,000 per month
• Specialised / refrigerated or bulk delivery - ZAR12,000-18,000 per month

• Fuel and travel allowance - ZAR500-1,500 per month
• Performance bonuses - based on delivery targets and punctuality

• Code8 (B) Driver's Licence - minimum requirement for light delivery vehicles

• Defensive driving certificate - advantageous; required by some courier employers

• Grade10 minimum acceptable; Grade12 (Matric) preferred by most employers
• No tertiary qualification required

• 1-2 years of delivery or driving experience preferred
• Entry level roles widely available for recently licenced drivers with a clean record
• A clean, unendorsed driving record is typically required

• Good knowledge of local routes, road networks, and GPS navigation tools
• Ability to complete delivery manifests, waybills, and proof of delivery documentation
• Strong time management and ability to meet daily delivery targets
• Professional and courteous customer facing manner
• Physical fitness for loading, offloading, and handling parcels
