The Role

The Debtors Clerk is responsible for the accurate and efficient management of both accounts receivable. This role ensures timely and accurate invoicing and collection of payments from customers, thereby contributing to healthy cash flow and strong financial records for the organisation.

  • Debtors Management (Accounts Receivable)
  • General Ledger and Administration
  • Financial Record keeping Management
  • Documents Processing (Filing)
Requirements
  • Minimum national senior grade 12 matric certificate, or equivalent NQF qualification
  • Tertiary qualification, a relevant certificate, diploma or degree in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial management.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years' proven experience in a similar Debtors role.
  • Experience in the FMCG industry would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrate a successful record of accomplishment in previous roles.
  • Experience with a recognised accounting software package such as Xero, Sage, Pastel, QuickBooks is essential
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
