Location: South Africa
Your daily tasks will be:- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, annual, and other periodic reports, as well as ad hoc reports upon request
- Perform ad hoc reporting and provide analytical support as needed
- Develop analyses and presentations for senior management
- Analyze current business performance and provide recommendations for improvement
- Deliver accurate reporting and performance analysis against historical data and budget to support decision making
- Support DC management, legal, and financial management matters
- Assist in the development and implementation of various projects within the collections area
- Propose necessary actions to improve the company's financial and other key performance indicators
- Develop and monitor collection KPIs (e.g., Recovery Rate, PTP, Kept PTP, Gross Efficiency, etc.)
- Economics and Mathematics (Economic theory, applied mathematics, finance, and mathematical statistics)
- Computer Science (Data analysis, databases, programming, and information technology)
- Financial services, lending businesses, banks, cryptocurrencies, credits
- E commerce, marketing
- Consulting (BIG3, BIG4)
- SQL: Proficient in any dialect (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL). Experienced with CTEs, window functions, complex queries, and stored procedures
- Mathematical Statistics: Knowledge of various distributions, correlation analysis, regression models, and hypothesis testing
- Excel (Advanced Level): Skilled in data sorting, filtering, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF/SUMIFS, and chart creation
- BI Tools: Power BI preferred, but experience with other tools such as Tableau, Grafana, Looker, QlikView, or Apache Superset is also acceptable
- A/B Testing: Understanding of split testing principles, test planning, and logging
- Python: Data analysis using libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Statsmodels, Seaborn, Matplotlib, etc.
- ETL Processes: Experience with tools like Airflow, Pentaho, and others
- IT Understanding: Knowledge of client server architecture, APIs, back end and front end concepts, parsing, algorithms, and data structures
- Project Management: Familiar with Agile methodologies (e.g., sprints), as well as Waterfall
- Project Management Tools: Experience with Jira, Asana, ActiveCollab, ClickUp, Notion, etc.
- Languages: Fluent English required
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
