DC Debrief Clerk - Transport DC Midrand

Dis-Chem Pharmacies' in Midrand has an opportunity available for a DC Debrief Clerk.

• Grade 12 - Matric or a Senior Certificate
• Minimum of 1 Year relevant experience in Receiving, Debriefing, Courier Knowledge

• Debrief drivers once they have returned to the warehouse following route drops.
• Ensure that all returns / collections are passed to the Returns for checking and processing.
• Ensure that all reconciled PODs collection of documents and re deliveries are noted on the trip sheet.
• Ensure accurate count of all pallets, Rolltainers, Tote, and Bales after deliveries.
• Ensure drivers are debriefed, paperwork is filled and queries resolved.

• Report on short and or extra stock to Debrief Team Leader.
• Ensure all drivers adhere to the delivery procedures at all times.
• Ensure that all PODs and other distribution documents are collected and filed.

• Ensure the returns areas are in an acceptable and orderly condition.

• Adhere to Dis-Chem Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Adhere to Health and Safety rules and regulations.

• Knowledge and understanding of Distribution Centre, logistics and supply chain operations
• Critical and analytical thinking. Problem solving
• Proactively communicates in order to build co-operative relationships with internal customers. Teamwork /Collaboration
• Basic quality orientation. Accuracy. Attention to detail
