Job OverviewThe Customer Support Specialist role is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home. You'll be responsible for assisting customers via phone, email, and live chat, ensuring they receive timely and effective support when using the SimplePay platform.
Key Responsibilities- Provide customer support through phone, email, and live chat
- Help users navigate the SimplePay system effectively
- Investigate and resolve customer queries with attention to detail
- Guide customers to relevant help resources for quick solutions
- Handle additional support tasks as required by the team

Requirements and SkillsTo qualify for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum Matric (Grade 12 exemption)
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Access to stable, high speed internet (at least 20 mbps)
- Ability to work during load shedding without interruptions
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- High attention to detail and technical aptitude
While not mandatory, experience in customer service, payroll, bookkeeping, or accounting will be advantageous. Familiarity with tools like Slack, Google Suite, FreshWorks CRM, Jira, and Confluence is also a plus.
