Service Representative (Call Centre Environment Advantageous)
Woodmead, Johannesburg (Full-Time, On-Site)
Salary: Up to R8 500 per month
Our client based in Woodmead is looking for a customer-focused Service Representative to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and can handle customer interactions with professionalism and empathy.
Key Responsibilities- Manage incoming calls and emails in a professional and efficient manner
- Identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Deliver accurate information using internal systems
- Resolve customer queries and complaints promptly, ensuring follow-through
- Meet daily productivity targets, service levels, and quality standards
- Accurately capture and maintain customer records on company systems
- Escalate complex issues where necessary
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve product or service challenges
- Previous call centre experience (highly advantageous)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to de-escalate difficult situations
- High levels of emotional intelligence and resilience
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Positive, customer-first attitude
- Matric (essential)
- Relevant qualification in Customer Service or Business Administration (advantageous)
- Fluent in English
- Computer literate (Intermediate MS Office skills)
