Are you someone who can: Have a working knowledge of the current Exchange Control policy, specifically in relation to individual transfers. Ability to apply that practically for complex client needs (including foreign investment and emigration), both from a guidance perspective and being able to assist with any related applications to the SA Reserve Bank. Be seen as the go-to point for all client cross-border needs, which would typically include an individual and their business. Full spectrum services including Moving money (inward and outward) which would cover a wide spectrum. Foreign investment in terms of the various allowances of applicable and related processes. Emigration/ceasing tax residency and the impact that has on their remaining assets in SA. Understanding residential status and how that impacts what we can offer clients from a banking perspective. Support for UHNW (Ultra High Net Worth) Bankers and Wealth Managers in: Client solutioning which would often include large value transactions and multi-layered local and offshore structures. Dealmaking, especially in relation to currency hedging strategies. Specialist frontline cross-border conversations, covering the latest themes and providing the necessary guidance. Masterclass sessions which would include technical updates. Regular updates on regulatory changes to ensure that business is up to date and able to maximize client opportunities. Fulfilling a quality control role in relation to the broader business. Raising the bank's profile via thought leadership and public relations. You will be an ideal candidate if you: Have a Finance Related Degree - Minimum NQF Level 7 Have 3 - 5 years' experience in a similar environment.
