COMPLIANCE OFFICER
Job Description
Will be responsible for ensuring that the company complies with internal and external regulatory requirements, policies and procedures. To serve as a guardian of legal and ethical integrity within the organization, helping to create a culture of compliance and uphold the business's reputation.
Key Responsibilities- Risk Assessment: Conducting assessments to identify potential compliance vulnerabilities and developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Policy Development: Creating and implementing comprehensive compliance programs that encompass policies, procedures, and controls to ensure adherence to laws and regulations.
- Monitoring and Auditing: Regularly monitoring and auditing internal operations to identify and address instances of non-compliance.
- Training and Education: Educating employees about compliance matters, providing training sessions, and establishing reporting mechanisms for potential violations.
- Reporting and Prevention: Work closely with management and other departments such as HR and Health & Safety in investigating misconduct and preventing violations.
- Regulatory Knowledge: A thorough understanding of industry regulations and the ability to translate them into company policies.
- Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze data from audits and risk assessments to identify compliance-related issues.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to effectively convey compliance requirements and foster a culture of ethical behavior within the organization.
- Computer Literate: Well versed and experienced in Excel and other Microsoft programs.
Must reside within East Rand Area
