Coffee/Charity Shop Manager
Job Description
Paper & Cup is recruiting a Charity Shop Manager to run our day-to-day retail operation within our social enterprise space. Paper & Cup is part of Spitalfields Crypt Trust (SCT), supporting people in recovery from addiction and homelessness through training and work experience. This is a full-time position (35 hours per week, including weekend work / bank holidays) with a starting salary of £27,000 per year.
Responsibilities- Run our day-to-day retail operation within the SCT social enterprise space.
- Lead a small team of staff and volunteers, setting clear standards, and keeping things running smoothly from rotas and stock to merchandising, quality, hygiene and health & safety.
- Support trainee placements for people in recovery, working alongside SCT colleagues to help create a positive, professional learning environment with appropriate boundaries.
- You're friendly, hands-on and well organised, with strong customer service instincts and an eye for clothing, fashion and presentation.
- You're confident leading a small team of staff and volunteers, setting clear standards, and managing rotas, stock, merchandising, quality, hygiene and health & safety.
- You'll be comfortable supporting trainee placements for people in recovery, working alongside SCT colleagues to help create a positive, professional learning environment with appropriate boundaries.
