Code 14 Driver

A leading client in the retail sector is seeking a reliable, safety-conscious and experienced Code 14 Driver to join their dynamic logistics team based in Pietermaritzburg. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and timely distribution of FMCG products from the distribution centre to various retail stores across KwaZulu-Natal. This opportunity is ideal for a professional driver who takes pride in maintaining high delivery standards, adhering to road safety regulations and representing the company in a professional manner at all times.

• Transport and deliver FMCG goods safely from the distribution centre to stores across KZN
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, efficiently, and within scheduled timeframes
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures
• Adhere strictly to road safety regulations and company policies
• Provide excellent service when interacting with store personnel and clients.

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Code 14 Driver within the transport or logistics industry
• Valid Code 14 driver's licence with a valid PDP
• Matric (Grade 12) is essential
• Good knowledge of routes within KwaZulu-Natal
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and vehicle handling
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
