We are currently looking for CO2 Welder to perform high-quality welding using CO (MIG) welding processes on various metal components, ensuring structural integrity, safety, and compliance with company and industry standards.
- Grade 10 / Matric (preferred).
- 2-5 years' experience as a CO /MIG welder (preferably in manufacturing or engineering environment).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Knowledge of welding safety standards and procedures.
- Strong welding and fabrication skills.
- Good attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Good hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Perform CO (MIG) welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and other metals.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
- Prepare materials for welding (cutting, grinding, cleaning).
- Set up and operate welding machines and related equipment.
- Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and quality.
- Repair defective welds and structures as required.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Work within production timelines and meet daily targets.
