Job Description

We are seeking a Cloud & Infrastructure Architect with 4-7 years of experience to design, implement, and optimise secure, scalable, and resilient cloud and infrastructure solutions across key financial domains including Payments, Investor Services & Trade, Pricing & Billing, and Liquidity Management. The role focuses on enabling high-performance platforms that support mission-critical financial systems, data processing, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud-native and hybrid infrastructure architectures aligned to business and regulatory requirements.
  • Build scalable, secure, and highly available platforms supporting payments, trading systems, billing engines, and treasury solutions.
  • Define and enforce infrastructure standards, architecture principles, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers, AI/ML Engineers, DevOps, and application teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity for critical financial systems.
  • Implement infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Optimise cloud environments for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and governance across all infrastructure components.
  • Support real-time and high-throughput systems (e.g., payments and trading platforms).
  • Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively resolve issues.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Technical Skills
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates).
  • Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts (VPCs, subnets, load balancers, firewalls).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Understanding of security best practices (IAM, encryption, secrets management).
  • Experience with high-availability and disaster recovery architectures.
Domain Experience (Highly Preferred)
  • Pricing & Billing: Pricing engines, billing platforms, revenue systems.
  • Liquidity Management: Treasury systems, cash management platforms, liquidity risk infrastructure.
