Cloud & Infra Architect
Job Description
We are seeking a Cloud & Infrastructure Architect with 4-7 years of experience to design, implement, and optimise secure, scalable, and resilient cloud and infrastructure solutions across key financial domains including Payments, Investor Services & Trade, Pricing & Billing, and Liquidity Management. The role focuses on enabling high-performance platforms that support mission-critical financial systems, data processing, and analytics.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement cloud-native and hybrid infrastructure architectures aligned to business and regulatory requirements.
- Build scalable, secure, and highly available platforms supporting payments, trading systems, billing engines, and treasury solutions.
- Define and enforce infrastructure standards, architecture principles, and best practices.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, AI/ML Engineers, DevOps, and application teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity for critical financial systems.
- Implement infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Optimise cloud environments for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Ensure security, compliance, and governance across all infrastructure components.
- Support real-time and high-throughput systems (e.g., payments and trading platforms).
- Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively resolve issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates).
- Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (VPCs, subnets, load balancers, firewalls).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Understanding of security best practices (IAM, encryption, secrets management).
- Experience with high-availability and disaster recovery architectures.
- Pricing & Billing: Pricing engines, billing platforms, revenue systems.
- Liquidity Management: Treasury systems, cash management platforms, liquidity risk infrastructure.
- Strong architectural thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to design scalable and resilient systems in complex environments.
- Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Attention to detail with a focus on security, reliability, and performance.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
