Job Position: Citrus Farm Manager
Ref: 5209
Location: Addo/Uitenhage region
Salary: R45000 per month commensurate with qualification and experience + accommodation

Qualifications / Requirements:- Must be able to handle and have experience with minimum 100 hectares of citrus
- Valid drivers license
- Oversee daily farm activities, including planting, pruning, spraying and harvesting
- Manage orchards
- Ensure the maintenance and calibration of equipment, especially spray equipment and irrigation systems
- Implement operational plans to meet production targets
- Lead, motivate and develop the farm workforce
- Coordinate and manage staff efficiently
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and fair labour practices
- Keep track of hours, overtime
- Ensure compliance with agricultural best practices, quality standards, and industry regulations, such as SIZA and Global GAP
- Enforce health and safety protocols for staff and equipment, including the safe handling of chemicals
- Report and investigate workplace incidents
- Monitor and manage diseases and pests
- Manage water and fertilizer applications
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
