CONTROL ROOM MANAGER

Job Title: Control Room Manager

Reports To: Regional Operations Manager / General Manager

Location: Nelspruit Control Room

Role Purpose:

• To lead, manage, and oversee the strategic and operational performance of the Control Room, ensuring full functionality, riskmitigationandcompliance

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the Control Room team (Supervisors & Controllers).
• Ensure all Control Room logs, incidents, and evidence trails are properlymaintained.
• Conduct weekly audits, failure investigations, and platform health checks.
• Liaise with client representatives, Sector Supervisors andSector Managers
• Coordinate training, system upgrades, and integration of new monitoring technologies.
• Enforce SOP adherence, performance standards, and real-time response protocols.

• Ensure SOP adherenceandperformance standardsby conducting SOP Training every three months and keeping a trainingregister for alltraining conducted with the Control Room
• The Control Room Manageris responsible forHR Related issues within the ControlRoom.Theseare not limited toforwardingof leaveforms ,sick leaveformsand Injury on duty.
• The Control Room Manager willensure thatall staff members arecompliantin terms of PSIRA,Medicals,inductionsand weapons competency where applicable
• ImplementImmediatecorrective actionin the event ofnon-compliance orApplication/Platformfailures.
• Approve shift rosters and authorize critical incident escalations.
• Zero ToleranceEnforcement -ImplementAny disciplinary processes that have been proposed after failures have beenidentifiedduring post incident debrief analysis
