Job DescriptionKendrick Recruitment is seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie on a temporary basis to join a luxury hotel in Ballito. This role is ideal for a chef with strong culinary skills, capable of maintaining high standards in a fast-paced, professional kitchen.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook menu items to the hotel's culinary standards
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning
- Maintain high hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards in the kitchen
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory management
- Support senior chefs and work collaboratively with kitchen staff
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Assist with special events and banquets as required
- Relevant culinary qualification or equivalent experience
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a luxury hotel or high-end hospitality environment
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen protocols
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Team player with a proactive attitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
