Job Description
We're seeking a skilled and disciplined CHEF DE PARTIE with the ability to deliver consistency and precision across a busy kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills, reliability, and a passion for culinary excellence to one of the flagship restaurants in Parkhurst or Bryanston, Johannesburg.
The group operates three distinct concepts: a Greek restaurant, a premium steakhouse, and an Italian eatery - each reflecting a diverse culinary identity and high standards.
Experience & Qualifications- Culinary diploma or equivalent professional certification
- 3-5+ years' experience in fine dining or premium casual restaurants
- Solid technical knowledge across hot, cold, grill, or pastry sections
- Proven ability to execute dishes consistently in high volume service
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
- Team player with a disciplined, professional approach
- Execute dishes to the highest standard within the assigned section
- Support menu delivery and seasonal changes under the Head Chef's guidance
- Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
- Uphold hygiene, safety, and operational standards in line with company policies
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff where required
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service execution
R12,000 - R15,000 CTC, no additional benefits
