CES Technician

• As a technician, you are responsible for the maintenance of equipment as per planned and corrective maintenance, while ensuring that the equipment is conditionally monitored to ensure safe operations in line with legal and production requirements
• Conscientiously you ensure that all critical spares exist, that job cards and work orders are comprehensively completed to be captured on the maintenance system and that all jobs are completed to the satisfaction of the customer
• The management of all troubleshooting and necessary resources belongs to your responsibilities
• Daily feedback to the CES Coordinator with regards to jobs in progress and/or completed is autonomously organized by you
• Responding to and repairing equipment timeously following breakdowns in a safe manner while minimizing production down time is part of your work routine
• You actively support all SHEQ activities in the CES Team

• You possess a matric certificate or N3 equivalent and artisan qualification
• You gained at least 5 years of working experience in preventative maintenance, condition monitoring, breakdown maintenance, compressed gasses installation and with welding, easy flow, high-pressure systems, pumps or compressors
• Knowledge about electrical systems and equipment in flammable environments as well as the ability to read P&ID drawings, conduct fault finding, testing and repairs on gas installations are parts of your expertise
