Sasa-vacancies

Job Description

CCBSA Opens 2026 PWD HR Learnership -Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has officially announced a new intake for its Business Administration Learnership for 2026, specifically targeting Persons with Disabilities (PWD).

This opportunity forms part of the company's commitment to youth empowerment, inclusive employment, and skills development within South Africa's manufacturing sector.

The programme is designed to give young people who are currently unemployed a real chance to enter the corporate world and gain meaningful workplace experience.

The Programme: Bridging the Skills Gap

The learnership runs over a 12-month fixed-term contract and combines both theory and practical workplace exposure. Successful candidates will work toward an NQF Level 3 Business Administration qualification while gaining hands on experience inside a functioning HR department.

This dual learning model allows learners to apply what they study immediately in a professional environment, helping them develop confidence, discipline, and real workplace understanding.

Key Objectives
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team.
  • Assist with HR operations during busy business periods.
  • Learn how corporate HR systems and processes function daily.
  • Build strong workplace communication and organisational skills.
  • Complete the theoretical components of Business Administration.
What the Workplace Experience Looks Like

During the programme, learners will not just observe but they will actively participate in daily administrative tasks. This includes document management, assisting with employee records, supporting recruitment processes, and helping ensure smooth HR operations.

These experiences help learners understand how large organisations manage people, maintain compliance, and keep operations running efficiently.

Candidate Eligibility Criteria

CCBSA has outlined clear requirements to ensure the programme reaches its intended beneficiaries:

Disability Status Must be a Person with a Disability (PWD)

Medical Proof Valid Doctor's Note (with Practice Number & Stamp)

Age Limit 18 - 35 years old

Education Matric with 40% in Maths/Maths Lit & 2 Languages

Work Experience Minimum 1 year of work experience

Current Status Unemployed & not enrolled in full-time studies

Exclusion Must NOT have done this learnership before

Essential Skills for Success

Beyond meeting the academic requirements, CCBSA is searching for individuals who are results driven and eager to grow.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate:

  • High proficiency in English communication.
  • Strong organisational ability and time management.
  • Attention to detail, especially when working under pressure.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt in a structured corporate setting.

Applicants must also have a clear criminal and credit record, as integrity and trust are critical in administrative and HR-related roles.

These qualities are just as important as qualifications because the programme aims to prepare learners for real responsibility in the workplace.

Many young South Africans struggle to secure employment because they lack workplace exposure even when they have completed school. This learnership directly addresses that challenge by providing both formal training and practical experience.

For persons living with disabilities, it also promotes inclusion by ensuring access to opportunities that lead to independence, confidence, and sustainable employment.

By the end of the programme, participants will have:

  • A recognised NQF qualification.
  • Valuable HR and administration experience.
  • Improved employability across multiple industries.
  • Professional references and workplace exposure.

The application window is currently open and will close strictly on 22 February 2026.

Interested candidates are encouraged to apply through the official SAYouth.mobi platform. When submitting an application, ensure that all required documentation, including the mandatory medical certificate, is attached.

Missing documents may lead to automatic disqualification, so applicants should double-check their submissions before finalising.
