In financial statement audit at PwC, you will focus on obtaining reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement due to fraud or error, and will issue an auditor's report that includes the auditor's opinion.

About the role

To provide an efficient service to internal customers by preparing financial statements using Caseware working papers (CWWP).

Essential skills and experience

1 Year's relevant experience (Caseware/Accounting) would be preferable.

Required qualifications

Degree in Accounting.

Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged candidates in line with the firm's transformation agenda. Skills or attributes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer service focus.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Able to work as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail/Accuracy.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel.
  • Understanding of the accounting framework.
Responsibilities
  • Receive requests for financial statement preparation (small companies, trusts and CC's) and review the input for accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare financial statements using CWWP (Caseware Working Papers).
  • Perform critical self review.
  • General administration.
