Case Administrator - Solvent Liquidation

You'll be a part of our Corporate Simplification team who help companies close down subsidiaries that are no longer needed in an orderly way. This process, known as a Members' Voluntary Liquidation (MVL), is used when a company is solvent and able to pay its debts. We have supported the successful closure of thousands of these companies, working both on individual cases and as part of larger projects to simplify corporate structures, often alongside tax, legal and accounting experts.

This is a great opportunity for a university graduate or an administrative candidate to join our dedicated, client-focused team within a successful and expanding international business.

Responsibilities
  • Managing CRM data, including creating and maintaining opportunities and contacts
  • Supporting client onboarding, including conflict checks, AML checks, and internal acceptance procedures
  • Completing due diligence searches
  • Preparing liquidation appointment documents, statutory filings, advertisements, and notification packs
  • Drafting standard correspondence, including emails and letters
  • Logging and assisting with creditor claims adjudication
  • Preparing VAT returns and VAT deregistration submissions
  • Corresponding with HMRC across CT, VAT, PAYE, and MVL matters via email, letter, and phone
  • Liaising with internal finance teams to raise invoices and process payments
  • Monitoring deadlines and ensuring compliance with statutory and internal requirements
  • Maintaining accurate case files within the electronic document management system
  • Supporting research on complex group structures and other ad hoc project work
  • Undertaking additional administrative tasks as required
Education and Experience Required
  • Highly organised with strong time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional and positive manner when communicating by telephone or video conference.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience in an office environment, including exposure to client onboarding, AML processes, MVL work, or use of IPS software, would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
