An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and passionate Camp Manager to oversee daily guest experience operations at a luxury safari lodge.
This role is ideal for a hands on hospitality professional who thrives in a guest facing environment, enjoys leading teams, and is committed to delivering exceptional service standards.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome and host guests throughout their stay
- Manage check ins, special requests, and dietary requirements
- Oversee guest experiences, including meals, activities, and lodge hosting
- Ensure all guest touchpoints meet high quality standards
- Supervise service during breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Maintain lodge presentation in line with brand standards
- Work closely with HODs, kitchen, and service teams
- Support and assist across departments as needed
- Organise and host children's activities
- Ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional guest satisfaction
- Professional, courteous, and guest focused
- Proactive with strong initiative
- Honest, dependable, and detail oriented
- Passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences
- Comfortable working with diverse guests, including families and children
- Experience in a camp manager, safari host, or similar hospitality role
- Strong guest service and hospitality background
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to lead teams and manage under pressure
- Creative and engaging approach to guest experiences
- Valid unendorsed South African driver's license
