Exciting opportunity exists for a Camp Manager who is also a qualified Field Guide to lead the day-to-day operations of a new remote camp and location for a 6-month contract in the Greater Kruger.
Duties include:- Operations & Camp Management
- Guiding & Research Support
- Volunteer Experience & Standards
- Communication & Reporting
- Ability to thrive in a remote and basic facility bush camp
- Proven experience managing or assisting with the operation of a remote camp or lodge
- Experience working with volunteers in a structured field-based environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a small team
- Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- A genuine interest in conservation and research-based programmes
- A calm, proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach to work
- Field Guide qualification or CATHSETA accreditation
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
- South African citizen or holder of a valid work visa
- Live-in position (shared accommodation)
