Our client, a leading global provider of claims management and loss adjusting services, is seeking dedicated Customer Service Advisors to join their incident response team in Cape Town. As the first point of contact for customers at the start of their claims journey, you'll play a vital role in supporting people during stressful times. Your interactions will range from handling home emergencies requiring immediate solutions to managing substantial property damage that may develop into full insurance claims. About the RoleYou'll be working as part of a dynamic incident response team, handling:
- Home emergency calls requiring instant remedy and coordination
- Property damage claims that may evolve into full insurance claims
- Customer support throughout the initial claims process
- Multi stakeholder communication with policyholders, insurers, and contractors
- Full time flexi shifts: 7 hour shifts, 5 days per week
- Core hours: Between 8am - 8pm, Monday to Sunday
- Advance notice: Shift patterns provided at least 6 weeks in advance
- Need to be able to start 1 May
What You Need Now:
- Customer service experience in an office environment - minimum 2 years
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written in English
- Ability to interact professionally with policyholders, insurers, contractors, and various stakeholders
- Calm and composed approach to handling customers in stressful situations
- Strong listening skills and empathy
